The Ferrari 456 GT Venice Has an Interesting History.

After posting that pic earlier today I went looking for more information on the Venice and it actually has an interesting history to it. Most people think the Sultan of Brunei owns one, but actually he doesnt own one, he owns six. Even more interesting is that he ordered 7 of them, and afterwards decided to only take delivery of 6 of them, nobody knows why. Every Venice reportedly cost $1.5 million and the seven one is owned by an unknown party in London. And on the note of the Sultan of Brunei, he really liked the 456, and he wanted multiples of every one he could get I guess. Which is why is also commissioned two 456 sedans and two 456 convertibles around the same time.

So one of these days when the Sultan's car collection finally gets sold, there will be some odd 456's out there.

The sedan looks pretty good too. And that yellow Bentley Java in the background!

Looks like the sultan commissioned two 456 convertibles too, though they look a little more questionable...
